Each concert performed by LUPII is produced by Alex Calancea and brings to the stage a true spectacle featuring characters, masks, stories, music, and dance—a complex message that enriches the audience’s artistic experience.
“Povestea de iarnă” (Winter Tale) and “Festivalul Lupilor,” the most vibrant summer festival, have already become traditional events that draw thousands of spectators each year from across the country and abroad.
Inspired by the authentic folklore of the Republic of Moldova, LUPII lui Calancea collaborated with the National Folk Music Orchestra “Lăutarii,” the Advahov Brothers Orchestra, and various symphonic orchestras from both Moldova and Romania. In 2021, the Wolves initiated a collaboration with Surorile Osoianu, recording an album that includes twelve songs presented in a new vision crafted by Alex Calancea. The well-known artist GUZ also ranks among the Wolves’ successful collaborations, and more recently, they have teamed up with the National Ballet “JOC.”
